Nature Safari Tour

Starting from Gournes, driving through Gouves, Kokkini Hani to Episkopi off-road. Stopping for coffee at a village kafeneon. After our break in Episkopi continuing through olive fields along donkey agricultural tracks to Central Crete. Along the route, we have stunning views of the Ida and Dikti Mountains. In the afternoon, we organize an alfresco barbeque in a typical Cretan olive orchard. The rest of the afternoon, the safari explores rural Crete’s magnificent beautiful scenery and places historical and natural beauty.

Best Of The West Coach Tour

The Best of the West city tours takes us to the old capital of Crete Chania. This Venetian Port was a trading post from the Roman times. The architecture and shops are a delight to visit. The monastery of Arkadi is one of the oldest on the island where the guide takes us on a tour. Spinalonga History Boat Trip

Spinalonga the last Leper village was located in Greece. The coach takes us to Agios Nikolas where the boat collects guests, and carries them over to the island, the boat passes over the sunken city of Olous dating back 4000 years. Stopping off in the bay the gulf of Elounda we can swim and snorkel with the fish. BBQ lunch is served on the boat cooked by the captain and crew. Touring around to the island where the Venetian fortress was built in 1579. The guide takes us around the island with all the history of this historical landmark.

Underwater Photography Day Tour

The instructors provide a full lecture on scuba diving; we then begin the basic photograph course on the techniques of under water photography. We begin the day’s diving instruction in a swimming pool to the proficiency course standards passing the lessons. Boarding the boat, we travel to the location off the beach. Each diver has two professional diving instructors assigned to each dive. The instructors assist with taking wonderful photos of the marine life. This is the true world of photography with the vibrate colours of the seas wildlife. The course includes transportation to diving school, diving equipment, insurance. Samaria Day Walking Excursion

Village Walk a simple walk that most enthusiastic walkers can manage. Starting at a local village overlooking the disused olive oil factory which stands like an unattended museum. Walking past local agricultural fields growing crops of potatoes, onions, salads, almonds, figs. Climbing a short distance entering the second village to appreciate village life. Continuing through the village appreciating the rural mountain landscapes, flora, and fauna of Crete. Connecting to the agricultural donkey path leading to the last small village. The guide arranges a treat ordering a small village traditional meze in the local kafeneon overlooking the wonderful view of the walk. Returning journey down the hillside of the villages.

Samaria Walking 2 Day Tour

Experience never to be forgotten Samaria reputed to be the longest gorge in Europe's at around 17 kilometres. It certainly is impressive, however to really appreciate the beauty it pays to take your time. This is why we recommend walkers to spend the night at the bottom of the gorge at Agia Roumeli village. This is to reduce the pressure on the timetable. The overnight accommodation enables walkers to travel to the gorge at a reasonable time, giving time to fully appreciate the truly inspiring natural beauty and wildlife of the gorge. The professional nature guide accompanies walkers through the gorge giving informative information on the gorges history plants and wildlife walking slowly through the gorge, until arriving at the village.

The daily tourists leave on the last ferry leaving the village empty. The local tavernas apartments owners, prepares a special evening meal on the beach terrace just for our guests, followed by a moonlit dip in the Libyan sea. In the morning after breakfast, the local ferry returns for the boat trip to the village of Sfakion. We are transported back to our mini bus, returning down the mountains for a historical visit to the famous Venetian port of Rethymnon. Walk includes accommodation room (please note the rooms are basic towels provided) / transport / entrance fee / evening meal (not drinks).

Skydiving Excursion

A full day out Skydiving on Crete. Fully trained skydiving instructors shall take you on an unforgettable journey into the skies of Crete. Beginning with a drive to the south coast near to Mires, to the aerodrome of Timbaki. The instructor undertakes a full program of training, and then it is off into the Cretan Sky. After clearance from airport control to we take off, reaching our altitude 12500 ft the instructor completes the final checks and hooks you onto the Tandem harnesses then jump out of the plane. Free falling the instructor guides both of you before pulling the ripcords to releasing the main parachute. Slowly drifting towards the airport the instructor lands, you back safely on the ground. The whole experience can be videoed to seal this moment just for you.

Flying Lesson Day

A Flying lesson at Heraklion airport Crete. A special gift in a Cessna airplane starting with a flight pre training course then a pre flight check. After clearance from airport control, the training instructor taxies to the runway then up into the air. As the pilot turns South over the agricultural regions you are given instruction in flying with you at the control. Landing back at Heraklion you are presented with a certificate.
